Background

The City of New York embarked on a major upgrade of their emergency 911 communications system. As the world’s largest 911 system (receiving more than 12 million calls, annually) NYC’s 911 communications system supports Police, Fire, and EMS public safety agencies. Our client was selected as the overall systems integrator for this $400MM program and managed a very large program team of vendors, consultants and service providers. ISS participated in a supporting role by providing numerous subject matter experts (SME’s) and specific service consulting expertise.
